Donation Information
Everything you need to know about donating items to HOPELinc and The Shop.
What items are accepted?
We accept clothing (all sizes), furniture, household goods, electronics in working condition, books, small appliances, kitchen items, home décor, linens, games, and educational materials. Items should be clean and in good working condition.
What are your donation drop-off times?
Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at our location: 429 Canton Highway, Cumming, GA 30040. We're closed on Sundays.
How do I request a pickup?
Click the pickup request button below and fill out the form, or call us at 678-456-5544 EXT: 2. We'll contact you within 24 hours to schedule a convenient pickup time.
Is there a pickup fee?
No! Our pickup service is completely free for donors in the Cumming area and surrounding communities. This is part of our mission to make donating as easy as possible.
What areas do you serve for pickup?
We provide free pickup service throughout Cumming, GA and surrounding areas in North Georgia. If you're unsure if we serve your area, please call us and we'll let you know.
Can I get a tax deduction receipt?
Yes! HOPELinc.org is a service of Cumming Home Ministries, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We'll provide you with a tax-deductible donation receipt for your contributed items.
